You can’t stop the beat! HAIRSPRAY, Broadway’s Tony Award-winning musical comedy phenomenon is back on tour! Join 16-year-old Tracy Turnblad in 1960s Baltimore as she sets out to dance her way onto TV’s most popular show. Can a girl with big dreams (and even bigger hair) change the world?
Cara Torchia is currently traveling the country performing in the Broadway National Tour of Hairspray. She has a BFA in Musical Theatre with an emphasis in Dance from the the Chicago College of Performing Arts at Roosevelt University. Cara has performed at regional theaters across the country in Beauty and The Beast, Wizard of Oz, West Side Story, Kinky Boots, 42nd Street, and more. She thrilled to share magic of Hairspray and live theatre with young audiences.
